Question: Which guitar to get!? Worth the price difference!?
I'm having difficulty deciding between two guitars,
this : http://bavasmusic!.com!.au/store/takamine-!.!.!.

and this:http://bavasmusic!.com!.au/store/takamine-!.!.!.

As you can see, the 50SC is a solid top, so it's probably a better one!. However, it's also at least a 100$ more expensive!. The prices advertised there are also significantly lower than other shops, and that shop is about an hour and a half away from where I live, and I don't know if they even will sell it to me at that price!.

It's probably going to be around 100$ more than my original budget of 350$!. Should I settle for the cheaper one!? Or should I suck it up, and spend loads on the solid top!?

also, with an electric-acoustic guitar, what accessories should I get to go along with it!? Do they supply the cable with guitar!? Do shops usually throw in straps etc with the purchase if you ask for a discount!?

I live in Sydney, so if you have any suggestions about where to go it would be helpful as well!.

Thanks for answering =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Personally, I'd get the best guitar I could afford!. If the extra $100 isn't a big deal then go for it!. You'll be rewarded in the long run!.

Electric/acoustic is a must for me!. If you ever plan on playing live, it will make things much easier!.

Some shops will throw in extras here in the States --- some won't!. It doesn't hurt to ask though!.

You may eventually want an amp, I have a Marshall 50 watt acoustic amp!.!.!.it's great!. But you won't need one right away if you're just starting out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you should try each, if your ear good enough to hear the difference, buy the better one, if you're just starting out and cant feel the difference, go with the cheaper one!.!.

they usually dont give leads and straps, you have to buy it separately!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would go with the more expensive one!.
It's a good idea to get the best guitar you can afford!.

I looked at both links!. they both seem fairly similar!. I think the lower cost one would suit your purposes as much as the higher cost!. But, if you have a chance, play each at a store and go with the one feels better to you!. If you can't then just go wih the lower cost!.

With acoustics, they generally do not through in accessories!. You will need to buy a cord, picks and strap!. Since its an acoustic/electric, you'll need an amp at some point!. If you do not plan to plug in anytime soon, i would look at straight acoustic models !.Www@QuestionHome@Com
