Question: Good quality acoustic guitar and good quality electric guitar for a beginner(reasonably priced)!?
I've taught myself to play a few chords on an acoustic, my sister owns one!. I was thinking about getting my own, and I really want an electric guitar!. What would be a good quality, fairly cheap acoustic guitar, and a good quality, fairly cheap electric guitar for me!?
Links would be great!.

I only really deal with acoustic guitars, so I would suggest a Takamine!. Depending on where you are, if in the US or Europe get the Jasmine, if you're in Asia or Oceania look for the D-series!.

However, I would suggest looking at the ones in the price range at a store and taking the one that sounds and feels best to you!. After all, it's something that you'll be playing on, you have to love it!. So try them out, and ignore the brands!. If it sounds good to you, and it doesn't look or feel like it'll fall apart in 2 months time then get it!.

A word of advice though, stay away from the Fender squiers, unless for some reason you really like them, because in my opinion, they're a waste of money and space!. Brands like Takamine, Yamaha etc produce better value at the price of those!.

Good luck =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

for an acoustic, try to find "cort" acoustic!.
maybe cort earth 100f would be the best for the quality and price!. its cheap and will last for the rest of your life, you dont need any other acoustic, unless you became a recording artist or so!.!.

for electric,
a squier stratocaster would be great!.!. it will cost you about $100, and its really good for that price!.

i own a fender and squier strat myself, i like em because the neck really fits my hand, and the body curves really fits my body!. i think its the best guitar ever!.

its versatile, you can play any song with it, and it looks good!. =PWww@QuestionHome@Com

I have always prefered my students learn on an electric!. They are so much easier to play!.

The type of guitar is really based on the type of music you wish to play!.
If you are into Metal get an ESP LTD or a Jackson (my picks)
If you are into straight ahead Rock those guitars will work but you may want to look into a Epiphone Les Paul
If Blues is your thing All of those guitars will work but look into Mexican made fenders!.
If your not sure!.!.!.!.I'd go with a guitar like this

Although if you can afford it
