If you want to write a good song, you need to start with chords!. Come up with a good chord procession and then start adding other stuff to your liking!. You also need a bridge from the chorus to the next verse!. also the lyrics might be inspired by a real life experience!. If you want to write a song like for a movie soundtrack, then you might want to listen to good soundtracks like Pirates of the Caribbean (hans zimmer is the master) and Star Wars (so is john williams) 1,2,3,4,5,and 6 to get a good idea!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

there's two ways to write a song, easily and they both always work!.

1!. Start bouncing your head and body up and down to match your mood, like however you feel, start moving!. Then say something in rhythm!. Just start talking, and that's the beginning of the verse or the chorus of your song, and start like singing and stuff!. That's the coming up with lyrics first approach!. Then add music to it!.

2!. Same start, bouncing up and down but this time while playing an instrument!. Just bang on the instrument until your hands or feet start to plug into chords!. The song's chords will start to emerge and then you go from there!. Add lyrics to match the chords!.

If you're one of those people who can't remember what you just did, like me, record your brainstorming session and go back and work from the recording!. The initial inspiration and movement, energy is what makes the song catchy!. Even if it's not a rhythmic song, if you're moving around and really feeling it, that's what the audience will feel!. It works every time!. Unless you're just in a crummy boring dumb mood and can't be bothered to do anything, you're just like lazy and useless, then the music you make will not be good!. But even then you can force it and sometimes come up with something good!. So it's chords first or lyrics first!.

3!. Lastly you can just try and hear in your head a radio station in your mind, and your song comes on!. A complete finished song with production and everything!. It's a radio hit or just a piano piece, or an orchestral symphony or Irish folk tune, whatever!. If you can hear it in your head, you can hum it into a tape recorder!. While it's still fresh in your mind, start plugging in the tracks in Garage Band or some other recording program for computer, using live instruments, or midi or voice!. Audacity is a free recording program you can download if you don't have one!.

Some songs are based on situations an artist went through!. So you could write about a time in the past!. Or dedicate the song to someone and sing about them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
