Question: What time should I arrive for a Coldplay concert that starts at 7:30!? (What time does it REALLY start!?)!?
I've got tickets for the 11/5 Coldplay show in Atlanta, but it conflicts with a class I have at 6:30!. When the ticket says 7:30 for a show like this, what time does the band really go on!?

Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It all depends if there will be an opening band, and if you have reserved seats!.
Usually if there is not an opening act the tickets would say "an Evening With Coldplay"
At least that has been my experience with concerts!. An Evening with!.!.!.denotes a whole night with one band!.

Most of the time there is an opening "warm up " band!.(or two) If you have reserved seats there should be no problem for you!.
In my experiences most headlining acts don't usually start before 9-10 o'clock!.
Even if they "start" at 7:30, rarely do concerts start on time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There will be an opening band first (guaranteed)!. THEY will start at about 7:30 but will probably play for 40 minutes followed by a switchover of the stage by crew!. I'm betting Coldplay themselves will not start until at least 8:30pm or later!.
Go to your class first (it's important) and then go to the show and you'll arrive JUST in time!. The opening band is usually crap anyway!.!.er!.!.!.at least NOT what you came to see!. :)

Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
