first off, leg go of the mortal restrictions of the initial consonants!. this a universal piratical exclamation, so putting a restriction on it having to start with a "Y" may be hampering your motive!. i've heard "DARRR", "ARRR", "ARRRRGHHHH", "YARHAR", "MEE-ARG" (that's a cat pirate!)!. don't fence yourself in to one connotation for your pirate because this one sounds can mean so many different things to a pirate!.
