Question: Comedic Monologue (will choose best answer!)!?
Ok so this weekend I am going to an audition for a short film!. Nothing huge just some small thing that would be a resume builder!. So anyway they asked you to prepare either a song, dance, or 1 minute or less comedic monologue!. I am already thinking of singing edelweiss or think of me (i am currently in voice lessons)!. I'm not much of a dancer so I wasn't thinking of performing anything along those lines!. My main question is, what would be a good comedic monologue!? I'm 14 if that helps!. So if anyone can give me a a good idea, or a link to a short monologue that would be fantastic!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I suggest you try:
Wrong and Ready by Greta Zehner (I've used this one myself, and have had a lot of success!)
OR
Sticky Situation by Marah Refety
Remember- with a monologue, you can always delete parts to make them shorter, and generally thats better than finding a short monologue, because when you're nervous, people tend to speak faster than they practiced, and its better to have extra material than to stop too early because you have nothing else to say!. That, and if they like you, they may want you to continue!
and do they want a funny song for your audition!? because the ones you have listed aren't exactly "funny"!.
If they want a funny song, maybe try:

(The words aren't funny, but its about a dumb girl, so your infections could make it hysterical!)

I think you can only be realistically funny if you talk about something you know, and think of funny situations you have encountered!. For a fourteen year old that would probably be talking about your family, school, or your favorite sport or pasttime!.
