Hi, I'm 14 and I play the saxophones,piano and currently learning the oboe and I love all these instruments!. I try to spend equal time of practicing each day for each instrument because I love to play them and I want to go to julliard & be part of an orchestra when I graduate!. I used to think I want to major in Tenor Sax, but after doing some research I think majoring in oboe&doubling in saxes will be a better choice because its the 'permanent' member of orchestra!. But I also realized that so many people play these instruments and so many of them are really good, so the competition are very high!. I do have a back up plan, as im also interested in engineering and i'm really good in math and science!. So, how is it like to be in an orchestra!? is it hard!? fun!? can you make living with this !? how did you get into the orchestra !? what degree do you have !? What do you do other than playing in the orchestra!? and everything else that you think can be a usefull information for me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
