Question: Juilliard school question!!?
i just want to know, to be able to even have a shot at getting in that school for a voice major, do you have to have only operatic ability!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not necessary!. There are many students accepted in the vocal arts that are not exclusively planning a career in opera!. I know of one voice teacher/coach that graduated from Julliard and his major was voice!.
He has a professional-trained voice and does participate in large group choir productions (like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir) but never planned to be an opera performer!.
He did have a college bachelor degree as a music major before he applied for advance studies in voice at Julliard!. He also had to audition (like everyone else) before he was accepted!.
If you have a solid musical background and recommendations from
music teachers in your particular field you will have a good chance
to be given the opportunity to audition!. Getting into the audition phase is half the battle!.
Good Luck and keep on with your studies!Www@QuestionHome@Com

most likely!. if you have a chance getting in anyway!. that place has like a 7% acceptance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
