Help buying a french horn...?

Question:

I want to start playing french horn, and I'm looking at buying one of these two horns:

Which one would be better value for the money spent (looking at the prices)!? Are they even good at all!? I can't afford to buy a new horn!. Originally I was trying to find a Conn 6D, but I can't find any used ones for sale that are in good condition!. also, I was considering renting one, but it is extremely difficult to find one to rent because right now they are all rented out for school band!. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In my "expert" opinion (I know nothing about french horns, I'm just a band mom) I think your best bet would be the first one!.!.!. also known as the most expensive one!.

But, for what it is, the 500 dollar one, I cannot find a huge amount of anything wrong with it!. I say, if your really not wanting to spend a whole lot of cash on it go for that one!. After all the bidding by the time it ends, the price might go way higher!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
