Question: If a harp string broke while playing, could it hurt me!?
Would it be more dangerous or painful than a guitar string snapping!?

Same question for a zither--(it lays down horizontally with strings facing up towards the player!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Harp strings are usually played very delicately, if they are played softly the snap wouldn't be very dramatic!. as well the harp is a fairly large instrument and only a few strings would be large or close enough to hit you, as well the way the harp is played it would more likely hit your arm then face!. even though there is a slight chance of you being harmed the chances of it being serious or fatal are likely 1 in a billion!. what material are harp strings made of anyway!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

only if the strings were made by Ginsew , wow what a great plot for a horror movie! Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com
