Guitar playing for the non talented?

Question: Guitar playing for the non talented!?

Ok I SUCK at playing the guitar! I mean after learning cords where do you go from there!? I only play other peoples stuff and I feel that this isnt for me!. Im totaly not gifted in this area of art!. What should I do!? I want to make my own stuff up but I just cant!. I dont get it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

in order to write your own music, you have to have a basic sense of music theory!.

if you want to play a piece of music, you have to play in the same key or else it will sound very bad like you mention!.

Learn the different scales in different keys and learn chord progressions in different keys!.
