I have an audition coming up shortly, and I cannot get a hold of my voice coach!! I was wondering what would be considered the 1st 16 bars of the game of love (Carlos Santana, Michelle Branch)!? I would really appreciate the help!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, technically, the first 8 are the guitar intro!.!.!.

The first 16 bars of the vocals is the first verse, up to the chorus!.

Generally, if they ask for 16 bars, I'll give them the first verse, then one chorus!. In addition to the quality of your voice, they want to hear that you have a good sense of rhythm, and can stay in key (good ear for pitch)!. If you're singing a'capella, the song doesn't have to be in the original key, just so long as it stays in the key you start it in!.
