Question: About trumpet!. When i play high notes, i cannot go to low notes!. Guide needed!?

I can play from low notes such as low G to high C very well!. But when it comes to high notes to low notes, i got stuck in the middle!. The lips wont buzz, the air got stuck!. I am placing my upper lip around 85% in the mouthpiece!. So do i need to change my style of placing the mouthpiece!? Is there anyway i can do!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

a lot of people have this problem, you maybe don't need to switch your playing style so much as practice, however having a more even embrasure would help your control!.

If you are digging into the mouthpiece this could be the problem as well since it pushes your lips apart and will stop the buzzing!. If you practice all the time and aren't digging in then i would recommend going to see your teacher (or getting a teacher if you don't have one) and they should be able to help you fix the problem by giving you exercises!.
