Question: How should a new comedian go about performing at the Edinburgh festival!?
Hi, I'm wondering if it is possible to book a small venue for say an hour just to give it a go!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd advise writing to the Festival Fringe Director!.!.It may be Faith Liddell!.But think if you contact Fringe Director early{like now}for next year, you should be given instructions!.
I go every year & basically,if you advertise well & have plenty flyers, people will be interested even if you perform in a broom cupboard!

Otherwise you could get together with others for your first go!.Cheaper venue and company may help confidence!.

Now that I come to think of it,there are many free street-performances!.These get attention for nothing!.It may be a good way to ststart!.
Break a Leg!Hope to see you next year!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should just be yourself becuase if ur a good enough comedian when you're yourself people might think ur funny!. If they don't then comedy just isn't for youWww@QuestionHome@Com
