Position:Home>Performing Arts> I want to sing really bad but don't know where to start?Question: I want to sing really bad but don't know where to start!? i've always loved to sing but none of my family or friends know i even have an interest!.!.!.they would laugh in my face if i told them i wanted to sing b/c they've never heard my voice!. i want to learn to further develop my voice into something beautiful but don't know where to start!. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: the first thing is: let everybody know that you love to sing and that you can!. for instance, start singing in the shower!.!.!. loudly!. i started to, and everybody in my family learned that way!. (i love to sing too) if anybody laughs at you like a brother or sister say "yeah!? well, lets see you sing!" second: once you let your family know (or at least your parents), ask to take singing lessons, join the chorus at school, or something that gets you to sing the way you like it!. third: practice whenever you feel comfortable singing and whenever you can!. in your room, in the shower, if you want to sing there's only one solution!. sing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com At a family event or something, offer to sing (me and my cousin sang the song "a long and lasting love" at our grandparents annviersary) to show that you have talent && if your too shy get someone to do it with you like i did!. then once your parrents and ppl see you have talent, ask for voice lessons and do the research and find out where you can go!! happy singing!Www@QuestionHome@Com Maybe just start by hinting at it and sing all the time!. then if that doesn't work you will probably find someone willing to help and do it in secret!. i depends whether your good or not tho cos if you are good then ur friends shunt laugh but if your awful!.!.!. maybe you could record yourself on your phone and make your friend "accidentally" discover it! Thats how a lot of the celebrities got their talents discovered!. I'd say it's worth it!.
