Question: I have a hard time using vibrato on double stops!?
I have a hard time using vibrato on double-triple stops (3 notes ;2 notes at the same time)!. No matter how separate my fingers are, whenever i vibrate, my fingers hit the contingent strings and it causes a very scratchy sound!. Maybe a little advice!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

For starters, I would wonder what method of vibrato you are using!. The simple wrist vibrato would probably work better here rather than a very deliberate push and pull (for mini-bend and releases), per se!.

I would practice muting those contingent strings using your fretting hand!. Any string you don't want to hear that is also near the strings you do want to hear should be muted if you are hearing them!. Lightly touch the contigent strings and be sure you don't create unintentional harmonics!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
