Question: Why does my pinkie finger stop moving for a couple of seconds when I play clarinet!?
It's always with the notes B and up!. My right pinkie finger will refuse to move and feel very stiff for a couple of seconds, and that gets really annoying when I'm trying to play!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well my best guess is that your pinky is not use to the stretch yet so it will take some time in getting use to!. As you play longer and longer your fingers will start to react faster and faster!. So I think it is just your pinky trying to get use to the stretch!. Then again I am not sure how long you have been playing but if you are like on your first year or something it could just be your pinky getting use to the stretch that it has to make!. So if it isn't that then I really don't have a clue!.

Hope this helps!!
