Question: Im getting a guitar for my birthday!.!.!.!.!.!?

but i cant get guitar lessons!. is it possible to learn on your own and be good at it!? or a suggestions would help :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sure you can!. I had gotten an acoustic last Christmas!. I already have been playing violin and am on my sixth year with that, so I already previously knew the notes!. Just find those books at the music store that inside show the fingerboard and teach you string by string which fret means what note!. I had gotten one of those!. I'm only working with single notes and not chords at the moment!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Many of the greats are self taught!. Get a chord chart and a beginner's book!. Learn your chords, and look around online for video lessons- youtube has them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
