Question: WHAT IS A GOOD DJ PLAYLIST FOR A HIGH SCHOOL DANCE!?

PLEASE HELP!
I am a sophomore in high school and I have the opportunity to DJ our freshman/sophomore school dance this coming winter and I want to be good and save myself the embarrassment of having a bad playlist!. Does anyone out there have any suggestions of what I should play!?

Teens like:
Pop songs that you hear overplayed on the radio!.
Rock songs where the lead singer has a shrill, high voice!.
Seeing as it's a dance, anything fast with strong bass!.
Classic songs that everybody knows so that they can sing along!.

If you want the people at the dance to like you as a DJ, bring a huge variety of songs because people are going to want to request!. If you don't have the song they want to hear, you're going to get a lot of "this DJ sucks"!.

You probably don't want to play underground/unsigned artists!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
