Question: Is it easier to play guitar or clarinet!? What one would you go for!?

At my school you have a choice of four instruments to play to start with!. Cello, clarinet, cornet and guitar!. I don't like the sound of the cello or cornet!. So is it easier to play guitar or clarinet!. also what are your personal preferences!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've played both and clarinet was a lot easier!. A lot depends on your hands!. My hands are smaller with delicate fingers and so some of the chords are really difficult!. Clarinet was a better fit for me!. If you have bigger, stronger hands and longer fingers then guitar would be good!.
Aside from that it depends on whether you are just killing time or this is something you are going to pursue!. If you want to be in a rock band then guitar is a no brainer!. I liked the portability and sound of the clarinet!. Good luck and have fun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would reccomend the clarinet!. Namely because I play it but it is also a great gateway instrument for other woodwinds such as the oboe, saxophone, and bassoon!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
