How is my progress on bass?

Question: How is my progress on bass!?

hi i have been playing bass for 5 months now and i plan to onto guitar at christmas, for now im concentrating on bass, im just wondering am i where i should be

i know all the notes
know 5 scales, major, major pentatonic, minor, minor pentatonic and blues
know 5 arpeggios, 7th, major, minor, 7th major and 7th minor
can play many songs
im in a band
i practise 1 hour a day
i can slap

you're doing pretty damn well for only 5 months!

but practice the scales alot, and practice slapping some more!.!.!.

try to learn some funk-slapping style bass lines!.!.!.type Victor Wooten into youtube and watch the first video and take some tips to heart!.!.!.!.

try to learn multiple genres and appreciate all forms of music so you can get a better understanding of music!.!.!.

and finally, pick up some more instruments (like you said guitar, great idea) because learning more instruments opens up your mind to creativity and such even moreWww@QuestionHome@Com
