Question: What would be a good electric guitar for a beginner!?
I took acoustic for a bout a month now and I caught on pretty fast!. Now I'm thinking of buying an electric guitar too!. I heard fenders are really good for a low-ish price some of them!.!.!. Since it would be more first electric guitar, can anyone suggest a good pack/guitar that would be under $300!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I started with a Peavey combo of the Predator Plus (Strat copy) and a Transtube 158 amp - it was still pretty basic but looking back it was miles better than a lot of the Fender-Squier packs!. Costs a tiny bit more, but the Predator Plus has (or at least used to, I know they've changed the design slightly) locking ferrules on the tuners and a floating bridge which keeps it in tune better than a Squier Strat!.

Yamaha's Pacifica range are very good too - well-made, comfy to play etc - my dad's got one and it's not at all bad for the price, they do some entry level ones that are pretty cool!.

PS!. Not to be disrespectful to the other poster, but I wouldn't just go for "anything you can get your hands on" - try stuff out and be sure it's what you want, or you can end up buying a real dog of a guitar and just wishing you'd bought something else!. A badly made guitar (electric or acoustic) can be a nightmare to play!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ok screw squire they are crap!. screw fender (over priced and not to great)!. yahmaha eck they're ok!. now if you are looking for a good guitar for a good price i would say look at the epiphone or kramer!. thy make some pretty sweet guitars for a good price!. go to musicyo!.com!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Look on Amazon!. A really good guitar by Fender won't be under $300!. However, there are some good guitars on Amazon you can buy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You could go on craigslist or ebay and find some used mexico fenders, or you could get a cheap squier which is a good start!. However stay away from starter packs!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

anything you can get your hands on, seriously!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
