Question: Musical theatre for soprano!?
Musical festival is coming up, and i've been researching for months, but I still can't find the perfect song! I'm a soprano, age 16, and my range is from about A3 to B5!. You can go ahead and list off uptempo, or ballads, or whatever!. Just make sure the songs are appropriate for a 16 year old to be singing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How many songs are you allowed to sing!?(If you can do 2, do one classic and one contemporary to show your versatility)!. If only one, then it's better to sing something classical that shows off your voice rather than something contemporary!.

How about some classic Italian tunes such as "Danza, Danza," or "Caro Mio Ben," or the like!? If you prefer the Broadway type tunes I would go with something from the classic shows that are more widely known; I think judges may prefer that!.

I hope you do well; I remember those days and it was fun, if not nerve-wracking!Www@QuestionHome@Com
