Question: What is the clarinet fingering!?
I was looking over my All-District Honor Band scales, and I was wondering how one would play the altissimo G in the G Major scale!. Can anyone please provide the fingering!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

Haha!.!.!. there's about 20 different fingerings for it!.!.!.

here's a link to a GREAT fingering chart, and the most used fingering is the first one listed for G!.!.!. it also tells you which one should be used for trills, playing ppp, etc!.!.!.

also, when playing a G Major scale, use the first fingering listed for F# to the first fingering listed for G!.

So E: Thumb and register key, 2, 3, and right pinky Eb
F#: Thumb and register key, 2, and right pinky Eb
G: Thumb and register key, 2, 4, 5, and right pinky Eb
