I have a Broken Flute?

Question: I have a Broken Flute!?

I have a bit of a home project for myself to do!. My flute is broken towards the bottom, from the f key to the c it is broken!. I am blowing air an playing how i normally would but nothing is coming out correctly!. I would take it to a place to get fixed, but I am so embarrassed of the brand I don't want to!. Hence the brand of this flute is crappy already, therefore can you help me out!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I really doubt that anyone here!.!.!. who is not a woodwind repair specialist!.!.!. is going to give you instructions on how to repair your flute!.

I understand where you may be embarrassed about your flute!.!.!. but there is good news in that as well!. You see, these no name brands which are exported from many third world countries!.!.!.!. are not sent with replacement or repair parts!. So, if your flute IS broken, there is a good chance your parents will have to buy you another one!. Stick with a good name brand which will be priced accordingly!. Gemeinhardt, Yamaha, Armstrong, Emerson, Pearl, Selmer are all flutes which you can look for!. If you cannot afford new, shop for used!.

But back to your question!.!.!.!. there is nothing you can do to fix that flute or any flute,!.!.!.!. you are not a repair tech!. Take in the flute to a qualified person and keep your fingers crossed that he cannot fix it!.

Just take it to a repair shop!. They won't care of the brand they'll just care about the money they'll make from fixing it!. And DON'T fix it at home unless you have the necessary tools and experience!. You don't want to make it worse than it already is!.

And if the flute is already bad- to a point where this happens so many times!. Think about saving up for a new flute or even a used one from E-Bay!. They have some very nice ones on there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
