Question: How can I switch to B to a C easily on the flute!?
When I play the flute whenever I'm switching like from B or B Flat to a C note I have to get rid of my thumb from the thumb key and my flute always slip or I lose my embrochure!. How can I keep my flute in place so it won't like tilt away or something!? Any tips!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

HI there!.!.!.

Your flute does have to maintain stability when switching from one note to another and especially when you are not using the left hand thumb!. My advice to you is to place more pressure from your index finger knuckle and push a little harder into your lip/chin!. If you have not been doing this!.!.!. it is going to be uncomfortable at first, but you will get use to it soon enough!. This will allow you to easily remove your thumb from the tumb key without your flute slipping from your lip!.

i use my right thumb to try to push and hold it up!.
it'll be hard at first but you'll get it =]
D flat is just the right hand pinky, now that sucks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
