That's a guitar tab look at it like this!.
Chorus:
E---------------------------
A---------11h13p11------------
D------------------------12--13---
G---12----------------------
B---------------------------
E---------------------------

E--------------------------------
A-------11h13p11-----------------
D-----------------------12--13--8s10-
G---12---------------------------
B--------------------------------
E--------------------------------

E------------------------------
A---------11h13p11---------------
D-----------------------12--13-----
G-----12------------------------13--
B------------------------------
E------------------------------

E--------------------------------
A---------11h13p11-----------------
D-----------------------12--13--8s10-
G---12-----------------------------
B--------------------------------
E--------------------------------

The standard tuning of a guitar is EADGBE!. With the first E being your thickest string!. You play the fret that goes with the number shown on the "tab" up there!. If it says:

E--------------------------------
A----------3-----------------
D-------2----------------
G---1-----------------------------
B--------------------------------
E--------------------------------

Then you would play the first fret on the G string, then the second fret on the D string and then the third fret on the A string!. If you see a "p" or "h" between two numbers such as here:
E--------------------------------
A----------2p1-----------------
D-----------------------
G---1h2-----------------------------
B--------------------------------
E--------------------------------

Then you would use a hammer-on where it says "h" and a pull-off where it says "p"!. A hammer-on is where you hold down a fret, then play the string then hold down another fret on the same string higher up than the one you played first, and don't strum the second one, it will produce the sound of the next fret but no strumming is required!. A pull-off is the same as a hammer-on but in reverse, you hold down a fret, for example, the third fret, and also hold down a fret behind it on the same string, let's say the second fret!. You would play the string then lift up your finger holding the third fret so it makes the sound of the second fret but without strumming it!.

If you see an "s" between two numbers in a tab then that means you need to slide!. A slide is where you play a string and then slide your finger to another fret while holding the string down against the fret board!.
Playing with delay is playing your guitar with a delay effect!. A delay effect is hard to explain in words, sort of like an echo, you need special equipment to achieve it!.
Hope that helped :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Each line represents a string!. The bottom line is the low E and the top is the high E!. The numbers correspond to the number fret to play (squares between the lines on the guitar)!. For example, 12 means to play the twelfth fret on that string!. Read from left to right!. If a note is before another, play that one first!. If one is on top of another that means to strum at the same time!.

In this particular tab, you have hammer-ons (h) and pull-offs (p)!. Hammer-ons mean that you hammer that note with your finger without plucking the string!. Pull-offs are opposite!. Pull your finger off of the fret and keep the note after the p on with your finger!.

Delay is an effect!. It is somewhat of an echo!. You can't use delay unless you have an effects pedal designed to use delay!. I recommend boss pedals!.
