Question: Acoustic guitar peg trouble (real quick)!?
was taking the peg out and the peg head snapped off

Oh boy!. You need some carpentry skills now!.

My approach would be to get a hand drill and a thin drill bit, and drill a hole into the center of the remaining part of the peg!. Then I'd try to start a thin wood screw into that hole, just far enough to develop a good grip!. Then I'd pull the sucker out!.

The hazards here are: (a) you drill off-center or too big and widen or distort the original hole!. (b) you expand the remaining peg with your screw and split or damage the hole upon extraction!.

Another approach might be to remove all strings to permit unrestricted access through the sound-hole, and try to push the peg fragment out from inside using a nail punch or similar tool!.

Most secure option: take it to a good repair shop!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
