Question: Guitar Playing Lingo!?
Alright!. So i'm trying to play Oh Me (the meat puppets song that Nirvana covered)

http://www!.ultimate-guitar!.com/tabs/n/ni!.!.!.

And on the solo there's a little karat key (^) between some notes and I looked it up and it says it's a push!. I know what slides, and vibratos and hammer ons/offs are, but never encountered 'push'

What is it!? And how do you do it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've been playing for 25 years and never heard of a push!. Could it be a bend!? That's where you bend the string to sound like the next note, for example 7/\8 you would sound the 7 then bend the string to sound like 8 for 8/\7 it's tougher you bend the note first then sound and release the bend!.
