I wanna learn on my own but I'm not persistant, but I love practicing!. I just know my basic chords and how to play happy birthday haha!. I'm such a noob, I suck at guitar!.!.!.Any suggestions for a guitar for when I can actually play REAL songs!? I don't really want an instructor, I'm not good at working with new people!. What's the best way to learn guitar!? Any suggestions on practicing, tips, and easy songs!?Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Instructors were taught by previous instructors!. A combination of art and skill has been passed down this way for many generations!. If there was a short-cut, we'd know by now!. There are people that will tell you that THEIR website (or someone else's), or Cd, or such-and-such method will teach you to play!. Sure - if you never want to leave your bedroom!. IF someone cannot see you and hear you, they cannot teach you!. to claim otherwise is like the local idiot who used to stand up in the Board of Education meetings and complaining about everything, and hs last line was always "I ain't got no education, and it never hurt ME none!" Then he'd grin, showing the last 3 teeth he had, and sit down!. There will be people they say that THEY are great - and taught themselves, and never left the house!. Uh-huh!. A good teacher is worth every dollar, and a poor teacher is a waste of every nickel!. You should leave every lesson feeling that you learned something new, and you cannot WAIT to get home and make it better!. You should feel that every day, you want to get better, and your teacher has given something to do every day to make that happen!. The alternative is staying home and looking at countless websites - and knowing you are NEVER going to get good enough that anyone is going to want to play anything with you - and you do not even like hearing yourself!. Pick out songs you know, that you can hear in your head!. Google the band and the name of the song and add the word "tabs"!. you should come up with something!. Techno and hip hop, good luck!. Keep it simple!. Once you find what you are looking for, it should basically look like the lyrics to your song in mind, but have G or F and C and A and Am so on and so forth above certain words!. Those are the chords you want to play when you come to that section of the song!. You don't need an instructor!. Just an ambition and practice, practice, practice!. I know enough to keep myself and my friends entertained!. That's all I wanted!. Play for fun!. If you want to learn more quickly, then of course, seek instruction!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
