im doing a play at xmas and i am absolutly terrified on playing one of the pain parts in ti and im soo scared!. please can anyone give me any tips!

Do you pain parts over and over and over again in your bedroom!. The more you do them the easier they get!. Imagine yourelf as a great actor who can fool people into thinking they're not nervous when they are!. Who's your favorite actor!? Imagine that that person has taken over your body and will control you to help you say the lines and not be nervous!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the same thing happened to me a while ago!. just before you go on the stage breath in and out!. and the other thing that helped me was i got to talk to most of the audience before i got on the stage and they were friendly so i got more confident performing in front of them if you get a chance to the same do it!. hope that helps!. I also love to sing act and dance and i get really nervous, but I soon as I step on the stage I'm okay because I'm someone else, that's what makes a great actor!. Really step into the characters shoes and forget everything and everyone around you!.Good Luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

When the lights come on, it is surreal because you are literally blinded and can't see the audience!. I wouldn't worry about it, its totally normal cognitive thinking to be scared!. Thats why you get the buzz when its finished!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

nerves always help me and mean i feel great after a performance and am buzzing!. At first i was like you but before you go on stretch take a few deep breaths and get into character as when u become someone else your character it helps because you are not you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the first show you do will be your worst, if you keep looking at the audience before you go on stage to get used to the crowd and then when your on stage don't look at th audience
