Question: Guitar washers fell off electric guitar where you plug in amp!?
I took out my electric guitar today and tried to plug it into the amp with the cord and the plug wouldn't stay in the guitar!. I noticed a nut and a washer on the plug and I screwed them back onto the guitar then plugged it in and tried playing it and it didn't work!.

Can someone please help!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I agree with Tom, it is possible you have broken the wire connected to the plug inside the guitar!.
Remove the nut again and gently pull out the connector far enough to make sure both the wires are still connected to the jack!.
If one is broken, you will need to have the wire soldered back onto the jack!.
Just stripping the wire back and twisting it onto the connector would work as a quick fix, but you really need to have it soldered!. Hopefully you or a friend knows how to do it!. Or possibly your dad has a solder iron!.

You don't say what kind of guitar it is, but if it's a Strat like guitar, it is really easy to fix!. I haven't worked on another type of guitar like that for 30 years, so I don't remember how easy it is for a les paul type!.
Lots of times there is a small scratch guard around the jack, so you can remove the guard to more easily access the wires!.

I'm only guessing but I think when you tightened the nut back up you spun the plug and broke the wire connection!. take the nut back off without spinning the plug then ease it out of the guitar and check connection, you may have to reconnectWww@QuestionHome@Com
