Busking? ?

Question: Street Musicians!?/ Busking!? !?

Me and a friend are musicians and were thinking about playing at some places, as in "street performing!." Has anyone ever done this and how did it turn out!? And what are some good places!? And what are some good songs to play!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

I busk quite a lot, and its a lot of fun really!. Make sure you find a place where it is legal, a good metropolitan place, market places or piers are excellent busking spots!. Street corners are good, but don't be in the way of store fronts because the owners get pissed!. I made the most in San Francisco, lots of people who have money on them :)

Play songs everybody knows, ones that aren't hard to ruin, and nothing sad or depressing because that just completely ruins the mood!. Do not play the same song over and over again though, there are cases where people have been banned from busking because they become a public nuisance!.!.

I tried it once in Coolidge Park in Chattanooga, TN but I didn't make any money, probably because I'm not very good!. If you ever go to New Orleans, Jackson Square is known for the great street performers so that would be a great place to start!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've only played in clubs, but I've always wanted to do a street show!. Just make sure it's legal to play there!. And play Beatles songs =)!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
