Question: Is there any way I can help stabilize my voice!?
Right now my voice is changing and everything!. When I sing higher or even lower notes it does not sound quite like it used to, and my teacher said a long time ago that just a minimized range on both ends at this time is normal!. Is there any technique I can use or food or drink that I can use to help stabilize my voice just a little bit, or just prevent it from cracking as much!? It's not a huge problem otherwise!. Thanks!. well you're voice is changing, it's just natural and it'll pass!. When i was in eight grade I was an alto 2 and now i'm almost a soprano 1!. In the meantime to help work on range exercises!. Sing scales everyday that extend from the lowest part of your range to the highest, and if you want to extend your range maybe sing a little higher or lower each time!. This will help you build your range and keep it large while you're voice is changing, which is the perfect time to do so!. also if you're having difficulty while you're actually singing drink plenty of water and tea! stay away from carbonated beverages like soda!

Hope this Helps :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

it's really all about your abdominal support!.
Make sure that when you take air in, you store it in your ribcage, not in your chest!. When you're going to sing imagine that you are pushing OUTWARDS with your tummy: that's support!.
What i like to do while practicing singing is put my hands on my sides, right where your ribs are!. When you take your air, make sure that your ribs have expanded!. When you sing, make sure that your ribs stay at the same place!. Hope it helps :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
