Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It depends on the method you study!. If you go classical expect to play a song in about 50 years but if you take contemporary you'll be getting the concepts of theory and technique in about a year!. The first part was a bit of 2-5-1 jazz and the song 'Those were the Day's' (Lee Adams and Charles Strouse) was a rag time revival and the last scale played was a blues!.
