Question: WHAT DO I DO WITH MY LIFE!? PLEASE HELP!!?
I live in a tiny town where local football games are the only source of entertainment!. Well!.!.!.There are several things I want to do with my life!. And in a year I am going to have to figure out which college I'm going to!.
I want to be a singer and actress before anything else!. But I also want to be a fashion designer!. I don't need anyone telling me I can't do these things, I have my family for that!. What I need to know is where are great colleges to go to for fashion design!?
How do I afford to come home and visit!? I can't live on campus because I have a dog who my parents won't take care of while I'm gone and getting rid of him isn't an option!. So!.!.!.what do I do!? How can I accomplish all these things!. How do I afford an apartment!?
My demo cd is almost done!. So that is taken care of!.!.
I can sing and act!. I've had voice lessons and done serious acting!.!.!.so I know what I am doing!. It's just a matter of getting there!. I know that there are a million other people with dreams, but I can do this!
Mainly I come from a small town, and I have no idea about living in a big city!. How do I get prepared!?

Well, I have a good bit of advice for anybody getting into the arts as a career:
it's all a blank canvas, there are no rules!. Learn the art of hustling, and making deals!. All the creative activities, regardless of your talent or training, the main difference between success and failure is the amount of creative deal-making, and the amount of hustling people along and making things happen!.
also, where it comes to finances, be prepared to be poor most of the time, even if you make it fairly big!. Learn to live on the cheap, don't be extravagant, figure out how to buy everything second hand, or get for free because somebody threw it out!.
Find buddies who are doing the same things, and who you can form a gang with, and do projects with or get advice/favours/contacts off!.
You will not be making your income off art in the early days!. No way!. Find a job that takes little of your time and covers all of your expenses, and is in a business sector related to what you want to do!.
When getting into what you want to do, Work for free to get your foot in the door, and learn how the businesses work!. Ask lots of questions off the pros in the field!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You need a mentor, someone who can help you find the information you need!. High School counselors or advisors can be helpful!. Make an appointment with yours!.
If you have done serious acting, you may have met someone who can help you there!. Any adult with the time and willingness can be a mentor to you!. Just ask them some of these questions you have asked here!.
Of course you can achieve your dreams!. Just take it one step at a time!.
Which of these goals can you accomplish first!?
You may have to work for the money to go to school!.
Community college is a great way to begin your college career!.
You can live at home and study fashion design at a local community college!.You can get involved in community theater!.
There are many ways to pursue your dreams and a whole lifetime to do it!.

GOOD FOR YOU THAT YOU BELIVE IN YOUR SELF!.!.!.you should go to FIDM in LA so you can go to school and do acting and singing stuff on the side!. Get a job and start saving now!. once you move to LA get an appartment with more then one room so you can get a room mate!. then get a job!. you will have to save and stuff but if you thing you can do you can!. also try and get scholorships to help pay for schoo!. and acting and singign gigs should help with money!. just try and meet people and get your foot in the door!. so oppertunities will come toyou,Www@QuestionHome@Com
