Question: What would be a good starter guitar amp for under $150!?
I am still new at playing guitar!. I have a epiphone les paul special 2 and I got the package!. It came with a starter amp!. Its ok I guess but I want more than just that!. I was looking into the line 6 spider 3 15 watt amp!. It seems pretty good for only $100!. I just want a nice little practice amp that has some features and sounds decent!. I mainly want to play rock and metal!. Like Metallica!. Is the the line six amp good!? Or what other one would you recommend!? ThanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

I have the Line 6 spider 3 myself as a practice amp!. It is the best sounding amp with the best effects combination for that price!. I tried out all the other ones in the store, including Marshall, Fender, Crate, Roland, and the Line 6 beat them all!.

I normally play a Strat on it, but I just recently bought an Epiphone 1275 doubleneck, that has Gibson humbuckers , so it would be close to what you have, and it sounds great on the Line 6!.

I did see a nice looking Peavey on the Guitar Center website that looked like it might be OK!. I used to use a Peavey Bandit on stage for a few years, It had pretty cool distortion settings to it!.

I'd look at Peavey amps and Line 6 as a choice for that price range!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
