Well, it really depends on you and what you most enjoy, because that is what you wil learn quicker!.

The harp is by far the hardest of these to learn, and takes quite a commitment to start because they are more expensive!. You could use someone elses to learn, but then you would only have access to it at certain times which will slow down your practice!.

Guitar can be good because you can start splaying quite quickly!. You learn a few of the easier chords to begin with, and then just add from there, finding songs along the way that only contain the chords you know!. Guitar tableture is easy, but reading from normal music can be harder because it is more difficult to remember where each note is quickly!.

Piano is good because the notes are quite straight forward!. Depending on whether you want to learn chords or actual melody/bass line will determine how long it will take you to learn!.

I would suggest starting with guitar or piano, whichever is easier for you to get a old of, and then, when you become more confidant, pick up the other!. You can add the harp a bit later if you like, but it is good to have a solid music background before starting that!.

also, I have been assuming that you read music, but if you don't you will need to learn!. It isn't too hard but is very beneficial, actually necessary, to know if you want to pursue music!.

p!.s!. This is just my opinion! I don't want to put you off of anything!. If you have your heart set on the harp, then by all means learn that! Even if it is harder, your passion will get you through where you might have given up on something else!. I love the harp, it is a beautiful instrument, and if you can learn it that would be amazing!. Good luck, whatever you choose!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wouldn't know about guitar i'm afraid!. But i play both harp and piano!. Both are very similar with the notes, but i would say that the harp is a little harder in general!. When practicing the harp you do sometimes get blisters and also you can't see what your playing and the copy at the same time so i do tend to memorise it!. Although it's harder i wold say that the harp is my favorite and you do get more work with harp in weddings, concerts etc!. But I would say at the start both are similar!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
