Question: Am i too young to play a guitar!?
I'm a 12 year old geek and trying to find ways to be more!.!.!. less geeky i guess!. My sister has 2 accostics (shes 17) and learned to play at 14 or so but stopped a couple years ago!.
When no ones home i sneak into her room and just fool around with it but I have no real experience with guitars, besides med on guitar hero!.!.!. kinda pathetic
I desided a couple days ago that I wanted to learn how to play free bird sometime in my life so that is my dream and what i hope will keep me practicing!.

You're not too young at 12 to learn to play the guitar provided you have the drive, the determination, and the desire to move beyond the painful fingertips until the calluses come!.
You're not going to learn in a week's time, or even in a month!. It takes constant, everyday practice to gain expertise with the instrument!.

If you really want to learn how to play guitar, you should!.
Don't worry about your age, heck, I started when I was ten and I know people who started when they were about eight!.
If it's something you really want to do, then let no one tell you you can't play guitar cause of your age!.
And don't just play guitar to look cool!. I'm sorry, but guitar takes practice, hard work and determination!.You can't get those kind of things without a bit of passion for your instrument!.

age should never be your concern, i started guitar when i was 11 and now im 15 and im really good now, just takes time and hard work!. guitar is good for a hobby but u should never learn just to look cooler u should learn because u want to and because u love music, alot of guys i no bought guitars thinkin they were goin to get good and look cool and now the still cant play, most of them dont even pick up the their guitar!. But anyway, u should definely do it cause u might find out u love it and u could become really good

you could learn how to play the guitar if you want to!. try to say it to your older sister so that she could help you!. she could even teach you song that she learned when she was still playing the guitar!. best of luck to you welcome!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I don't think there is any age to start playing an instrument!. I started playing sax at 13 years old, where as my 9 year old brother has started taking guitar lessons already!. If your heart is in it go for it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
