Flute question... open key vs. closed key?

Question: Flute question!.!.!. open key vs!. closed key!?

Does a closed hole flute have the option of a low b key, if so, which one!?

I don't know of any flutes specifically that have closed holes and a b-foot, but I'm sure they are out there!. I would recommend getting an open-holed flute though!.!.!. you can put plugs in the keys to use it as a closed hole flute, but as you advance it gives you more flexibility to use the open holes with alternate fingerings to alter pitch!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
