Check it out, on the front, right under the spot where you press the pedal down should be a little thumb screw!. unscrew that all the way out and then the pedal part should lift up, there's a spring underneath it!. The battery should be right under there!. If there's no thumbscrew, try unscrewing the screws on the back (not thumb screws) but be careful not to pull any wires!. I don't own this pedal so let me know what happens!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
