There were several "centers" during the Classical era; the best known and most widely Acknowledged was Vienna!. However one must not discount Mannheim, Prague (a kind of second city to Vienna where Mozart premiered more than a couple of his most famous compositions) and The Esterhazy castle in Hungary where Haydn did much of his composing!.

I would think a website that identifies the Classical period as The "Viennese Period" would do the trick!.!.!. Check it out below!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
