Hi XXCrazy

The notes are the same as those on a piano!. E A D G in reverse!. E is the smallest and G the biggest string!. Tune it with the middle octave of the piano!.

Now, if the violin sound off a little and it is in perfect tune, you may have to move the bridge back a little if the note sound sharp, and move it forward ifthe note sounds flat!. Your reference points are the octave notes!. They have to sound inunison!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Unless you have a great ear and understand the mechanics of tuning a violin, you need help!.
Look on ebay for a violin Tuner!. Find the type that clips onto the violin or bridge!. You don't have to buy it at ebay but that will show you what is available!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
