Question: Am I to old to learn drums!?
I am 24 years old and I have always loved the drums but was never allowed a drum kitt (to noisy for my parents)!. I still really want to learn to play, can anyone master the co-ordination of having both arms and legs all doing different things with practise!?
also Id have to get a digital drum kitt (due to the neighbours) can anyone recommend a decent set that's not going to cost me a fortune!. Thanx!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

no - it's not too old!.
I'm a drummer - graunted I am half your age but my brother is 25 and he is learning and he's really good!.
if you're really sure you want a digital then yamaha would be the only make I would reccomend!.
don't get a digital second hand!
but I could reccomend getting a pearl drum kit (a real one) and getting what is called muffle pads as a digital kit will be a minimum of £900 pounds$1800 dollars and they can go up to £9000 $18000 dollars where as a good real kit can be as cheap as £160 $320 dollars
also - I think you'd be surprised how much noise you could get away with!.
I live in a terraced house with an old lady one side and a family the other and they have never heard a thing and we don't have walls that are that thick either :) Www@QuestionHome@Com

u r never never never 2 old 2 play the drums!. any electric drum kit u buy is gonna b on the expencive side!. starting at about $400!. dont spend anything less on a new electric set, used is ok but u WILL get junk if u buy a new set for any less!. but if i were u, id buy a starter acoustic set!. then u can buy drum a cymbal mutes, in which case u can take them off at any time u want and play loud!. if u ever want 2 play loud with an electric set, u'll have 2 buy a pa and a speaker!. 2 much money if u ask me!. if u buy all tht stuff, ur gonna b spending about $400 also!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
