P=Pull Off
H=Hammer On

Looks like your pinky should play the 8,
your middle finger plays the 6
and index on the 5!.

You pick the 6, but pull off with your middle (don't pick)
Then hit the 6 with your middle with enough pressure that you don't have to pick agian!.

Hammer ons and Pull offs are quicker than picking every note!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

P = pull-off (6p5 means start off with fingers on both the sixth fret and the fifth fret, play the note on the sixth fret, then pull the finger off the sixth fret without picking the string)

H= hammer-on (5h6 means play the note on the fifth fret and then put a finger on the sixth fret without picking the string)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Those are the names of the strings!. Okay, so the E at the bottom is the top string, (if you're strumming with your right hand), A is the next string, then D, then G, and so on!. the numbers are what frets you playWww@QuestionHome@Com

Those letters mean that you need to take lessons!. You will learn and progress a million times faster with someone to guide you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
