What's the best Bass Guitar for a beginner?

Question: What's the best Bass Guitar for a beginner!?

I want to learn to play the bass guitar, and I need a good bass guitar for a good price!. Preferebly one in the $250 to $400!.

also, what is a good amp to go with it!? Not too expensive, but I'd give $200 or a little more!.

Unless you're really sure you're going to do this for life, get the cheapest POS you can find on eBay, the only requirement being that they're in good working order!. When you're good enough to join a band and start gigging, go down to a decent music store and play a lot of instruments!. Find a few you like, then go back to eBay!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
