Question: How does John Frusciante play this part of Dani California!?
You know that part in the beginning of Dani California after the intro, when Anthony starts singing "She never knew that there was anything more than poor, What in the world does your company take me for" Its sort of a pull of type of thing and he uses the wah wah pedal during this!. Anyone know exactly how he plays this, tabs would be appreciated!. I've seen some of the tabs on the net and they don't seem right!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think it is a hammer on and a pull off!.

its probably not the exact notes but it sounds something like this

--------------------
-------4h5p4----
----------------4---
-------------------
-------------------
------------------

pluck the 4, hammer the 5 and immediately pull off to the 4 with out picking again

EDIT: alright let me listen to the song!.

i think you are on to something but it is a bit easier to play this way:

-----------------------------------
---------------------------------
--------10h12p10----------------------
----------------------12-------------
--------------------------------------!.!.!.
-7/10------------------------------

-----------------------------
--------------------------
----------------------------
--10-10--x--10h12-\-7--------
--10-10--x--10h12-\-7-----------
------------------------------

that sounds awesome! i like the slide at the beginning

yeah man, good work! peaceWww@QuestionHome@Com
