Question: From acoustic to electric
Is there a way that you can change the sound from acoustic, to electric, and back to acoustic again (and vice versa, however you want to look at it)!?
Like, for one entire song, I know people can play their instrument, which is usually an acoustic, and use a pickup to make give it that electric distortion, but they can make the different sounds switch at any time!.
Do you know how to do this!? Do you use pedals!? Something else!?
I now play cello, if this means anything to you!.
I'd be grateful for any information!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, if you have an acoustic-electric guitar (just an acoustic guitar with a special acoustic pickup in it) and an acoustic amp, you can create any sound you want, just with an electric guitar!. Yes, this is done with pedals, but it can also be done with pedal-type settings present on the amp itself, and then switched on and off with a footswitch!. Kind of like a pedal, except the change in sound is coming directly from the amp, instead of through the pedal and then through the amp!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

hi there, from what i know!. if your cello has a hole to plug it into an amp, then you can buy an amp that has distoriton knobs and play with those, and your cello should get that rocky feel too it!. it probably wont scream, since its a bass instrument, but it could get a rock sound to it!. you could also buy a pedal!. im not sure how much those are!.

i know for my acoustic guitar i can plug it into an amp which has distorition knobs and use that to get a eletric sound to it!.

for a eletric guitar, if you want it to sound acoustic, you shouuld plug it into a amp, and play with the knobs on the guitar until you get the distortion to a mininum, and then do the same for the ampWww@QuestionHome@Com
