I just did modifications to an SG Gibson!. I pulled out the factory pick ups and installed Seymour Duncan HB-90 Humbuckers, replaced the tuning machines with locking and installed a Bigsby Vibrato!. Completely different guitar!. I would install a Bigsby, it was an easy install and only took a few minutes to do!. It's better with locking tuners!.
