Question: Moving from acoustic to electric guitar!.!.!.
I have an electric guitar that I want to learn to play, but my local music store only gives lessons for acoustic guitars!. A friend of mine is willing to let me borrow his acoustic for the lessons!. I'm not sure how similar the two are, so would the acoustic lessons be worthwhile if I were to go home and practice on an electric!? Thanks - any opinions/advice would really help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most acoustic, strings are farther apart!. The neck is wider!.
I recomend you learn both, Spend the few dollars to get your own, and keep looking for someone to teach you electric!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
The strings are the same and everything!. It's just that there's an amp and it's shape's different!. I actually find the electric easier to play!. Hope I helped! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
